Svetlana Gribkova

Maître de Conférences à LPMA, Université Paris Diderot.

I am Maître de conférences at Laboratoire de Probabilités et Modèles Aléatoires, Université Paris Diderot from September 2016.

My main research interests are:

  • Machine learning, applications for biological data
  • Computational analysis of Single cell RNA-Seq data
  • High dimensional statistics
  • Survival analysis, copulae

From October 2014 to August 2016 I was a postdoctorate researcher at Center for Computational Biology which is a part of the U900 joint laboratory between Mines ParisTech, Institut Curie and INSERM dedicated to epidemiology, bioinformatics and computational systems biology of cancer. My post-doc was about dimension reduction methods for Single cell RNA-Seq data. My supervisor was Jean- Philippe Vert.

I have defended my PhD thesis "Contributions to statistical inference in presence of multivariate censoring" in September 2014 at LSTA, Université Pierre et Marie Curie. My PhD supervisors are Gérard Biau and Olivier Lopez. Main research topics of my thesis are

  • Nonparametric distribution function estimation for censored data
  • Nonparametric copula estimation under censoring
  • Clustering and quantization algorithms for censored data
