Quantum Computing is a new paradigm where quantum systems are manipulated to perform computations in a radically different fashion. These machines could allow for impressive speedups in many computer science domains, from cryptography to optimization. With the recent practical and theoretical achievements, it is now important to understand the basics of quantum computers and quantum algorithms, and in particular the applications in machine learning.
