Sujet : Impact of tree choice in metagenomics differential abundance studies
It is a well-known fact that human microbiomes, the communities of microorganisms that live in and on our body, play an important role in human health. Scientists now focus their researches on which species of bacteria are linked with diseases or behavior. However, due to the hundreds or thousands of bacteria that are studied, a powerful multiple testing procedure is required to prevent a high number of false positives. This talk will focus on hierarchical FDR corrections and the impact of tree choice in them.
