Sujet : Introduction on post hoc inference

Résumé :

In this talk we want to test a bunch of hypothesis and we are interested in rejecting some of these hypothesis. I will briefly introduce the concept of tests and multiple testing in order to move on on post hoc bounds. These bounds are upper bounds (with a probability higher than a given risk) on the number of false positives among a set of rejected hypothesis (the number of hypothesis that are wrongly rejected ). They are obtained such that they are valid for any sets of hypothesis (which can be chosen according to the data, or to the practician mind or in any way you want!)
